How to Achieve Post-PCOS Healthy Pregnancy

Polycystic ovarian syndrome – PCOS – is a widely spread hormonal condition in women, affecting 10% of women of childbearing age. To make this number more tangible, that’s about 5 million women in the US alone.
Women with PCOS often struggle to become pregnant. And if or when they do, they are at a higher risk of developing complications during pregnancy and are at a higher risk of having a miscarriage.
A lot of awareness has been created about PCOS in the media in the last couple of years. It’s a good thing. However, over 90% of the time the point of this awareness is missed. While we do need to know what women are struggling with and how to support them – it is NOT enough! An easy to follow plan which would allow them to heal their bodies of this disease is a much better goal to aim for.
Fortunately, it already exists.
While the medical community is struggling to pinpoint the cause of this debilitating condition, let alone have a natural plan to cure it, the approach to reversing it completely, in rather a short period of time, is already available.
A couple of years ago I shared a story of one of my clients – Carmen – who was struggling with PCOS and hypothyroidism at the same time. Both of these conditions made it hard for her to conceive. By the time she came to me, she was already on three medications and multiple supplements. Like many women with PCOS, she had a hard time getting pregnant. However, she was singularly focused on fixing her health first, THEN getting pregnant.
It took her only SIX weeks to reverse both conditions. One goal remained after that – achieving a healthy pregnancy!
