The Psychedelic Revolution: Unleashing Your Power for Physical and Trauma Healing, and Spiritual Transformation
Many of us have been on a long and arduous journey to find true healing, especially if we’re dealing with autoimmune, thyroid, or hormone disorders. We’ve tried countless medications, therapies, supplements, and diets, but often fall short of the results we yearn for. That’s because there may be a missing piece of the puzzle—a hidden trauma that continues to affect us on a deep, subconscious level.
Unfortunately, both allopathic and naturopathic medicine often overlook the vital connection between our emotional and physical health We are often treated like we are made of separate body parts that are disconnected from each other. With over 135 medical specialties, which often do not talk to each other, we are left to feel broken and hopeless. So, then it falls into our hands to find and implement the truth that may save our lives.
Throughout my journey and while helping thousands of others, I have learned that healing is never achieved through a one-sided approach. No single discipline has all the answers to our suffering. Only by identifying and addressing all the root causes of our illness can we truly achieve complete wholeness.
I have extensively written and taught about over 20 root causes that I have uncovered so far that are at the core of thyroid, hormone, and autoimmune disorders. Today, I want to focus on one in particular—unhealed trauma.
Unhealed trauma lies at the core of most thyroid, hormone, autoimmune, and digestive disorders, and illnesses such as cancers. Without addressing it, no amount of medicine, supplements, or therapies can provide us with the health we crave.
Healing Trauma at Its Core
Trauma is not solely reserved for extreme cases like violence, PTSD, or abuse. It can take
many subtle and insidious forms. Unresolved traumas, whether big or small, have a profound impact on our physical and emotional well-being. But how can we resolve them?
It seems that the disciplines of psychiatry and psychology, at least on their own merit, do not hold all the answers. In fact, psychiatrist Paul Minot recently shared a tweet expressing his disillusionment after 38 years of practice. He stated, “I’ve been practicing psychiatry for 38 years…I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m practicing in the biggest intellectual scam of this era. We claim to be a science but have no understanding of how thought or behavior is generated…20 years of peak psychiatry has resulted in a 30% increase in suicide in the United States.”
Dr. Minot is not alone in his sentiment. His tweet provoked an emotional response from many psychiatrists and psychologists who have left their fields for similar reasons. So, if not psychiatry or psychology, then what?
Enter the World of Psychedelic Healing
Dr. Mia Black, a clinical psychologist, too, became disillusioned with the field she dedicated over a decade to. Carrying childhood trauma into adulthood, she noticed that clinical psychology had little to offer her or the patients she treated to when it came to true healing. So, she sought truth and help elsewhere, leading her to discover psychedelic healing.
Dr. Black participated in countless ceremonies and dedicated her life to integrative healing to help resolve the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual components of an ailment. She went on to co-found a Bosnia and Herzegovina-based NGO offering somatic trauma release therapy, served as faculty at the GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY FELLOWS PROGRAM, worked with Heroic Hearts, The Hope Project, The Mission Within, and VETS organizations to help guide veterans and their families through psychedelic healing along with alternative healing modalities to address traumatic brain injury, PTSD, chronic pain, alcoholism, and various mental health challenges. Through the years, she learned that psychedelics are powerful, catalyzing medicines that stir up unresolved trauma, emotional wounds, spiritual sickness, and separation from nature underpinning many mental health issues and physical ailments. She found that they can take us past our conditioned sense of self to show us our essence, and who we have the capacity to become. And through that, provide the kind of healing we all crave and deserve.
Psychedelics go back centuries, as healers, spiritual healers, and shamans had used them to help those suffering find their paths to wholeness.

Psychedelics, when used with proper guidance, can act as powerful catalysts for transformation. They offer a unique opportunity to access heightened states of consciousness, deep introspection, and a reconnection with our authentic selves.
